Steelers "Unlikely" to Tag WR Mike Wallace

		It's reportedly "unlikely" that the Steelers use their franchise tag on impending free agent Mike Wallace. Franchising Wallace would cost the Steelers roughly $10.3 million. It's a number they'll likely balk at after signing Antonio Brown to a six-year, $42.5 million contract last summer. Wallace is fully expected to test the open market and could attract interest from receiver-desperate teams like the Dolphins. "I got big plans, no matter what the situation," he said. Wallace is too inconsistent for me.

I like my wideouts to catch the ball. The thing is tho, when he catches it he runs a 3.9 40

but still, I think we're good without him. Antonio Brown had a drop off this year, but he's still a G.

We need a solid #2 behind him tho. Emmanuel Sanders isn't that.

if we get Wallace we should resign Hartline and move bess where he belongs in the slot.....

Matthews as the no.4 and get another speed dude at no.5

i also think we should just draft bpa in draft hopefully its a corner or a pass rusher in the first 3 rounds.

reason i don't like Jennings is he has more wear and tear on his body plus he will be 30 when the upcoming season starts but reason i do like him is hes a better overall wr and knows the offense.

it's been said in the thread already but he is inconsistent with his hands. he can take everyone deep and probably wallace with hartline and bess would be a good lineup as wallace taking two guys with him would open up hartline and bess more.

I just think Jennings fits the offense more.

Keenan Allen tho is perfect for this system the more I watch his highlights and route tree.

If Miami is able to sign a DE in the offseason like Cliff Avril to pair with Wake I'd go Allen in the 1st.
