Spurs re-sign Danny Green to 3-year contract

From roster cut to multi-year contract. It's a good day to be Danny Green.

The San Antonio Spurs have reportedly agreed to sign Green to a fully-guaranteed 3-year contract worth $12 million, according to Yahoo Sports and SI.com.

Green, 25, averaged 9.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3[..]ists -- all career-highs -- in 2011-12 for San Antonio. A second-round pick in 2009, he was originally picked up by the Spurs in 2010 after he was waived by the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2010. Green played on a minimum deal last season.

Hopefully he doesn't get shook come playoff time!!!!Guess thats the difference between Spurs role Players and Heat role Players!!!Them Matt Bonner, Tiago Splitter & Danny Green were all scared in the moment vs the Thunder!!!Mario Chalmers, & Battier weren't

yeah some of the spurs role players have hit the wall in the playoffs...

Bonner has been folding like a lawn chair the last half decade in the post season[pic]
George Hill, outside of the Mavs series was a bit of a let down before
Roger Mason was always butt crumbs
Blair has always been hit or miss

When the thunder started to lock in on the pick n roll, splitter became a liability...

Spurs got Green fairly cheap I think... not a bad move

Imo if it's posted or not, but Diaw signed on for two more years... 2 years for 9mil

Green is a bum.. Couldn't hit a wide open 3 for us in the west finals.. Didn't Jr Smith resign for less?! Also, Timmy a 3 ye $34 mil

green is younger though, and a MUCH better defender... He did fall apart a bit though in the postseason... hope the !! isn't a trend, cause it seems to be with a lot of Spurs role players

Danny Green!!!!!! Omg!!!!!! Now they are playoff contenders....what a signing I was gonna say if they let this top 20 player go they are nuts!!!! Danny fkn Green!!!!! Wooooow!!! Spurs 2013 champs....not 1, not 2......well maybe just 1.

danny green signing will have more impact then paying thorton 8 mil a year[pic] U have to at least make the playoffs before falling apart in them[pic]
