There are only 10 players on the court, football, at least there are 22 and many players won't see action EVERY play.
yeah, people like LeBron and KG are extremely talented, but it's the fact that [until recently] ANYONE could go from high school to the NBA. the gap from HS football to the NFL is so huge that it's practically impossible for a kid fresh outta high school to succeed in the pros. IMO none of the other sports even come close to having a disparity like that.

nope, o-linemen need to know who and how to block on every play, the rb/fb need to know every play, as they are in every play whether it is blitz protection, or a pass play

IMO its football for one simple reason. Maturity. Theres NO way a HS senior is in ANY physical shape to play professional football. The strain on the body physically is too demanding. Thats the rules say you HAVE to be a JUNIOR before you can be eligible for the draft. Mentally, the game's tooo fast. Being 18 youre gonna be scared !!less when you see a 250 lb. man who runs a 4.5 come at you FULL SPEED. The kids cant handle it.

I think HOCKEY is 2nd over baseball. Once again, hockey demnads more physical and mental toughness and readiness than baseball. Dont get me wrong, baseball isnt a !! sport, its just not as fast as hockey and football.

because if you're able to go straight from HS to the league, then that says something about the college to pro transition.

Man i gotta go with baseball... all the other sports you graduate and hop straight into the pros... with baseball once they get drafted they have to prove themselves in the minors to make their way to the majors... very good players that come out of college can be stuck in the minor league system for many years before they make it to the show... it just shows how much developing needs to be done and how good u need to be to make it to the bigs
