I get the show via Itunes podcasts and it wasn't cut or anything. they edit those for commercials and any accidental cursing or whatever, and in the past ESPN has edited out "controversial" comments from their podcasts, most namely Simmons' ones.

So if they wanted to edit this and "censor" him, they would have cut it out of the podcast.

It's a difference being broadcast on live television, and someone SEARCHING for a damn podcast over the internet. You cant really compare the two in terms of importance of cencorship.

espn is soft as !! now. they are like the backstreet boys of sports. I can't even bear to listen to espn radio any more on XM, its all mad dog radio for me. espn is all over athletes jocks and never talk down about them. espn on the tube is like a rated G movie.

Only because the bible is used today mainly as a tool of division not unification. Everytime someone brings out the bible its to explain why something is wrong or why someone is going to hell. When was the last time a large group of Christians/Catholics got togther to preach "love thy neighbor", "help thy fellow man" or "hey, Muslims are all right"?

Yes, it's the same !!ing program. If they were trying to censor him, they wouldn't upload it on the damn net. They've had in the past where someone said some !! that got some eyebrows raised, and then they went and edited it out before posting online. They've done that several times to Bill Simmons.

So the idea that they're going to edit something during the live show but just say "!! it" and upload it on the internet makes ZERO sense.

I thought it was just my area or my cable provider in my area or something. I was in the gym and I saw them cut. Thought it was a glitch. Then they did it like a minute later. I actually got off the elliptical and changed the channel because I thought it was something going in with that station.
