basically... drew has a huge hill to climb if he wants to be UNC's #1 PG. he's too shaky in the offense, but i hope he can man up during the offseason... we could REALLY use wall next yr cuz he can run in roy's offense. he'll need some control, but that'll come with time.

and Q wasn't that bad, once he was comfortable (albeit, as a junior and esp as a senior) he stepped up and made plays. remember, UNC only lost 1 game w/ Q as a starter and that was his 1st start against Duke, when paulus, scheyer, and singler were lights out for 3 balls.

Wall was a huge UNC fan growing up & a couple years back had them as his #1 school, he was even photographed at a few UNC games then.
But Roy stopped recruiting him (Like Tyreke Evans) because of his 'handlers'.

If Roy wants this kid then he will be at UNC.

We definitely will have schollies open for next year & have no depth at the point spot.

I don't give a !! either way, for the most part I've stayed out of the Wall recruitment & don't really feel like getting myself worked up over something that could be nothing.

Drew wasn't recruited out of desperation, Watts was however.

John Wall's AAU coach HATES Roy Williams & UNC.

And it's because Roy has refused since day one to deal with him in Walls recruitment.
And Roy is a 100% right about that, he shouldn't have to deal with a 'handler' when recruiting a kid. No respectable coach should.

Which makes me wonder what has happened between K & Wall, especially since Wall's AAU coach LOVES Coach K.

Not like we all haven't beaten this horse to [rip], but everything about this guy & his handling of Wall seems real suspect.

And that !! he says in that article is laughable & shows what kind of person he is.
He panicked when he heard Wall & UNC are talking & wants 'his kid' to go to a school that best suits himself, not the kid.

My nicca Kevin (Who balled with this bum & Clemson) been telling me for a minute what kind of person he is but I've always ignored it because I didn't really give a !!.

Oh i know how it is with "handlers," but i know from first-hand experience how protective some of these AAU guys are of their kids, and honestly, some of these guys r like fathers (for obvious reasons) to these kids and it's more than just a "coach" thing with them.
But this doesn't seem like that's the case as much as a coat tail nicca trying to get broke up, but of course UNC fans r going to hate him now and Duke fans r going to be like "we kind of like this guy." [pic]
But this situation is like the inverse of Ryan Kelly.
-Wall hits up UNC out of no where... cats like "recruit me".
-UNC is like OK... recruits the man... and bam instant snatch of a Raleigh kid in the rival was the leader. But at the same time, Duke at least has the "handler" on its side. [pic]
