I know i know, thats alot of "What Ifs" but Doubt he would want to leave in that scenario [pic]

I wouldnt give it to him, but i also wouldnt give it to brook lopez

Hes still gonna be like 28 next year, and if he repeats last year and averages 19/10/4 and 2 blocks, hes gonna get paid, to mention hes real close friends with dwight so if dwight says hes gonna stay if they bring him in, you dont think they would overpay to get him?

Rockets are going all-in on Howard, or full rebuild.

So don't say "WTF ARE THEY DOING?!?!" It's one or the other. The Rockets have been on what's known as the "mediocrity treadmill" for 3 seasons now. Morey's been wanting to rebuild for 2 seasons, Les Alexander wouldn't allow for it. He'd rather rebuild on the fly. So that's what's going on with the pursuit of Howard. This is nowhere near like the Knicks. Giving out !!ty contracts to people who aren't worth 1/16th of that sort of cash.

What my boys are doing are: Let's get Howard and change his mind or deal him elsewhere before the deadline (NOT Brooklyn). Regardless, the Rockets are DONE with the seasons of finishing at 42-40. To Rocket fans losing their !!ing minds; stop. Let the team work. It's either about to be vet-laden with Howard (or others), or a youth movement.

Just wondering, has there been any word in houston about what the rockets are actually offering for dwight?

I mean i know what all us Magic fans WANT, but havent heard anything about what a likely deal would look like

Rockets twitter is now following Glen Davis/Chris Duhon/Jason Richardson/Dwight Howard. It's a sign! ‏

Only thing I'm SURE of if that ORL would get Martin's expiring contract. What I read was ORL has their pick of any of the Rockets "kids" and they would also get picks.

The Houston Rockets are doing everything possible to land Dwight Howard and that includes opening up a lot of salary cap room by waiving Luis Scola via the amnesty rule, reports ESPN.com's Marc Stein and Chad Ford.

According to Stein and Ford, the Rockets will have enough room to take on a combination of Orlando's bad contracts -- Hedo Turkoglu, Jason Richardson, Glen Davis and Chris Duhon -- and they will send them a bunch of young players and future draft picks.

As far as the players Orlando would get, Stein and Ford write: "Sources say that the Rockets would have to send Kevin Martin, Patrick Patterson, Marcus Morris and Chandler Parsons to the Magic from their current roster to make the salary-cap math work, as well the draft rights to Jeremy Lamb, Royce White and Terrence Jones.

The Rockets would also waive Shaun Livingston, Courtney Fortson, Josh Harrellson, Jerome Jordan, Jon Leuer, Diamon Simpson and Greg Smith as none of them have guaranteed contracts.

The Magic reportedly won't consider any Howard trade until next week.

I like this deal for the Magic. I think it's the best we can do?
