| i dont' see what the big deal is. ricky is good, but he's out west now. they have bigger small forwards than what he's accustomed to in the east. minnesota is really just happy to get olawandi's dumb[..] off of their roster. celtics were stupid to take him. wally is wally. i respect his game. i don't know how he's gonna co-exist with paul piece. word is minnesota isn't finished dealing. they still want paul pierce.... | |

*Olowokandi is playing the best ball he's ever played in the league, and it doesn't matter, because his contract comes off the books this summer. So they don't have to keep him if he sucks in Boston. *Wally is also probably playing his best ball in the league. He fits Boston's system if you ask me. But his contract doesn't come off for another 3 years. Could be good if he stays consistent. *I've heard Ainge has his eyes on that 2008 draft. Thus, you're looking at a guy who will have some room to knock out a retarted contract that Donald Sterling gave to Olowokandi, POSSIBLY bag a good rookie, and still attract another good FA in 2009. In my opinion, Minnesota should've kept theirs. I'm not that confident with Danny, and think he'd be tempted to !! this up, and even trade Pierce at some point. Minnesota could've probably picked up someone like Rashard Lewis next summer. Not possible, now. | ||

| ricky davis reminds me alot of what latrell spreewell. the thing is i never recalled ricky to be a solid perimeter defender, so what does he presents for the timberwolves? | |

| this doesnt make sense for the wolves to do. they could have saved money from olowakandi's contract and got someone or better players. this move sucks for both teams IMO. | |

| i think ricky davis potential > wally szerbiack. thats wat the trade was about, and blount is a better defender than olowakandi, and olowakandi is gonna shoot when he get the ball. i think its an ok trade. i think ricky davis is more atheletic than wally, and can be a way better defender. he will do well with garnett setting him up, he gonna get open shots, and dunks and fast breaks. he will thrive. | |

| This was a good trade for the Celtics who now have a good player to put next to Pierce and they might get something out of Michael Ola... who has yet to live up to his potentional. The timberwolves get a !!y player who i don't think will do well with KG. they need to get McCants some playing time with KG and company. OHIO STATE UNC BENGALS CAVS INDIANS GIVE PROPS!!!!!WILL PROP YOU BACK!!!! | |

| The Celtics had to get rid of blount in the worst way. Im sure they wanted to keep Ricky but no way Minnesota was going to do the Olowakandi for blount straight up. If blount actually comes to play every night Minnesota could have a nice inside/outside combo w/ him and KG. | |
