Report: Vick needs playoffs to return in 2013

		League sources tell ESPN's Adam Schefter that if Michael Vick doesn't lead the Eagles to the playoffs in 2012, then the quarterback will likely be gone after the season. If Vick is on the roster just three days after the Super Bowl, then $3 million of his $16 million 2013 salary becomes guaranteed. So, if the Eagles part ways with him before that, they'll be off the hook for the last four years of his six-year, $100 million contract. Vick's struggles have dominated headlines through the season's first six weeks, but he has a legitimate chance to turn it around against the Lions, Falcons, and Saints over the next four weeks. Rookie Nick Foles isn't close to being ready to take over the offense.

I'd go as far as to say if he does not lead us to at least 1 playoff win he'll be gone regardless

This is Reids last year period unless he does the impossible and wins the SB.

All I want is a smart veteran QB Jeff Garcia esque(give me 08 Mac too), this offense skill position players are in their prime and drafting a rookie would be a waste. Foles is not the answer I'm sure though.

it's so unfair how the media and people hate on that dude, lets say Brady/Eli and them other guys lose their 2 starting tackles and their starting Center on the offensive line would they be half criticized and !!ted on as much az Vick, that's !!ed up...i know he look like a dopeboy...but don't treat him like one

They wouldn't to brady, but for eli, they were ready to run him out of town before he went on that playoff run in 07.

He's proven to be a better deep thrower than Vick though [pic] Plus better awareness for the pressure.

I don't mind it.
