Report: Skins 'very interested' in Matt Flynn

Citing sources inside the organization, ESPN 980 Washington's Chris Russell reports the Redskins are "very interested" in free agent QB Matt Flynn.
ESPN's Mel Kiper told reporters earlier in the day that "grapevine" talk suggested the Redskins didn't have a high opinion of Flynn. Russell knows "for sure," though, that coach Mike Shanahan and OC Kyle Shanahan had a "detailed conversation" two weeks ago on Flynn's six-touchdown, 480-yard performance against the Lions in the regular season finale. Whereas Charley Casserly suggested Flynn wouldn't be a good fit for the Redskins offense, one team source tells Russell the two systems are "almost the same."

Flynn is going to be good. Not elite, but enough to give a team a chance. He's got skills, and he's a leader.

I want RG3 but if they can get Flynn then get him! !!, draft another QB in the later rounds too! Any QB that is better than Rex Grossman!

If they get Flynn..then they will see Grossman 2.0. Trade up and get RG3 is practically the only way the skins can turn that B.S franchise around.

Thinking about it Flynn had TWO monsters games thats put a little buzz on him hitting the market. I'm still not completely sold because the two teams he did this to their secondaries are/were atrocious.

niccas slay me with the system !!. Yes he's in a QB friendly system but you still have to make the damn throws. Simply being in a system won't teach you how to throw like Matt was in that game. He was throwing darts and lasers all over the place. It's the QB school and the McCarthy and Clements teaching. Flynn was very RAW first coming in and so was Rodgers coming out of college. I've seen Rodgers' style transform a great amount since he left Cal and came to Green Bay, and it's not by accident.

I like this a lot I dont want them gettin rg3. I like rg3 and wanna wish him the best in the league so don't come to nfc east

i have a feeling he's going to be good, but seriously, they shouldn't squander the chance to bring in their own guy given their history.
