According to Jason Cole of Bleacher Report, multiple teams are interested in signing former Ravens running back Ray Rice either this season or next, depending on whether he wins his appeal.

It’s not that the Cowboys are a good place to find redemption, it’s just that the team doesn’t judge players based on what they do int heir past or off the field. Just look at the roaring 90s where America’s team was coked up, s3xed out and winning super Bowls all at the same time. But to bring it closer to this situation, the Cowboys have twice taken a chance on players others discarded as Michael Sam and Rolando McClain are both examples of this.
The former Rutgers star would have been a cinch on the Greg Schiano roster in Tampa Bay but Lovie Smith is a bit different and isn’t running things that way anymore. But Tampa Bay has a need for a running back who won’t get injured as often as Doug Martin seems to be. They’re of similar stature, meaning Rice could come in and replace Martin or at least provide a carbon copy in case Martin can never stay healthy.
They have no running back outside of Andre Ellington, who routinely shows up on injury reports and isn’t all that reliable of an option. Perhaps in a tandem he could be great, but the Cardinals getting Ray Rice could be something that instantly turns them into contenders. The passing game is opening up, the team is 2-0 and adding a powerful back like Rice to the backfield is a dangerous thought.
Bill Belichick loves his running backs and he likes to lose vetting reports on his players. They let Aaron Hernandez slip through the cracks and they have a history of being really shady when it comes to winning at all costs. rice may not be a featured back when he returns to the NFL and earning his keep in a rotation of backs like new England has might be the best for all parties involved.
This seems like an obvious choice because, hey, they gave Michael Vick a second chance and he nearly won the MVP as a result. Chip Kelly loves his running backs and he loves his offense to be filled with as many weapons as possible. Can you imagine how scary a three-headed running back monster of LeSean McCoy, Ray Rice and Darren Sproles would be? Philly is fast, they need lots of fresh legs and three Pro Bowlers in the backfield is a scary thing to think about defending.
