roy had injury concerns and what u saw was what you got out of him. bargnani was being groomed to play the 5.

i can live with having drafted bargnani 1st overall...

okay he took a loser[..] team that won what? 33 games? and turned them into a playoff team basically overnight.

he's the main reason bosh re-signed with the raptors.
he took charlie villinueva's wack[..] and turned him into tj ford which eventually turned into jermaine oneal.
took matt bonner and eric bum[..] williams and turned him into a solid starting c in rasho.
took !!en araujo and turned him into humphries who grabbed more rebounds over the span of 5 games than hoffa did his whole career.
filled out the roster with parker and garbo with chump change really and if garbo didnt have that injury, he would've been a key player for us last year.

the only questionable, scratch that - the only !!ed up move so far has been the JO trade. i would have prefered him trading calderon over ford and probably not for a salary eater in JO but im guessing that move was made for 2010 over anything.

Him turning tj ford and rasho into jermaine o'neal is a perfect exmaple of why hes an idiot. Who the !! takes jermaine o'neal on there team for good play ers like that.

A player who has a serious reoccuring knee injury is likely to have it come back again. I Mean the game of ball is played on your legs lol.. BC Couldn't realize that. I think we all knew it was going to happen in the back of our minds... but it happened sooner than i thought.. JO is a lost hope.. man is nice when he plays, but question is.. will he play?

^well i don't know about you but a lot of other raptor fans thought that move. i've been critical of it since i heard about it.

but like i said, that move was done for 2010 and at the same time, to help bosh in the front court with bigger players. also, ford was traded instead of calderon because idiot raptor fans know nothing about basketball and the fans and media all look at jose like he was jesus christ reincarnated. you think he didnt realize that if he traded jose instead of tj, that there would be a huge backlash?

yeah bc made a mistake with that trade but there is no gm in the history of the game that hasn't made a questionable move. how somebody can have jermaine oneal as an avatar and praise that move as much as russ did then say bc is overrated is beyond me..

yeah but andrea was on no ones radar. If the raptors had not drafted andrea he would not have been a top 5 pick. Jose gives up as many points on defense as he does scoring, but he puts no pressure on opposing defences because the only way he can create is off the pick, he shoots jumpers rarely get to the line. I hate watching raptors telecast they never talk about the lack of defence Jose plays they love him, but you listen to the games by the vistors brodcastor and they know just attack jose. Trade andrea+joey graham and get a 2/3 that can get to the rim kinda like what the bucks did with Yi and RJ or Somebody ,anybody who can guard somebody. People keep blaming sam but this team is jello pudding soft. Blame BC.

First of all, i think the trades BC made for us have been for the most part great. TRADES. ONLY. As far as FA signings, he has been !!! Kapono (Smitch cant use him right), AP (is on a MAJOR downswing) and the rest i wont even mention.

I liked the JO move in principle. I didnt like giving up the 17th pick for him. Im not one of those guys who expects JO in 20/10 form, im a realist. I expect him to avg abt what he is now... I expect his D. He has the talent to put up better numbers, but the injury concerns are always present. We need his interior D.

Did u see the NJ game? After JO went out, Devin Harris went to work in the paint no problem. NJ finished with 60pts in the paint! 60! WTF! This man is the anchor to our D, we dont need him to be an offensive powerhouse. Just D.

I liked ALL of Colangelo's trades, he turned alot of !! into decent quality. Its his drafting and FA signings that make him overrated.

And for the record, I would of traded Jose intead of TJ.

I rep JO cuz he is on our team, regardless of what happens, you gotta rep him if you are a fan. Thats why we all rep Bargnani, despite him being !! more times then him being not.

All in all, Sam Mitchell needs to go. Its not the right time for a trade.

I say by the end of December if we are under .450, Smitch will be fired, and I will be hosting the afterparty! :greetings10:
