what's up w/ Will Hill in that fs position.....

It’s time to start paying attention to Will Hill if you’re a Giants fan. He has been getting a ton of reps with the 1′s, and extra reps with the 2′s. It’s clear that the coaching staff really likes him. And how do I know that? Because they yell at him a lot. Before the play, during the play, after the play, you name it. ”Be physical Will! Jam him up Will! Jam him up!” If they didn’t like him, he’d be running with the 3′s. They’ve been using him a lot in the box, and today he covered the slot receivers and TEs quite a bit. He may very well play a big role for the Giants’ defense this year, especially with the uncertainty of Terrell Thomas’ knee. At all 32 camps, reporters are prefacing questions by first saying “The NFL is changing with the usage of more athletic tight ends like Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez…” and then they finish their question, usually asking how you stop those two TE sets. If there hasn’t already been that question posed with Will Hill in mind already, there will be soon.

i am so worried about a run game oweeeeeeee LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I'm excited, the rebirth of my Jags starts tonight. [pic] New Owner, new coach, stadium upgrades (including the best locker room in the league now, look it up, ask Peter King and others who got to see it.) New offense.

Blackmon won't play because he hasn't practiced in pads yet, but want to see L-Rob, Shorts, and the other WRs show the ability to get open which Jag's WRs couldn't do last year. Oh yeah, and catch the !!ing ball (lots of drops in camp so far, not good.)

Players to watch out for:

Rashad Jennings, MJD's backup who missed all of last year has been the best player on the field in some practices, and during the live hitting Scrimmage.

Julian Stanford, an UDFA this year, has been lighting up the coaches eyes in camp and during the live hitting scrimmage. He's gonna get some looks with the starting LB's with Session and Smith both being out.

Andre Branch, 2nd round pick, DE out of Clemson has shown he is a natural pass rusher, he'll start and try and get his paws on Eli Manning. He's been impressing coaches and out performed even their expectations so far, especially in playing the run in which they thought he'd struggle.

Cameron Bradfield, 2nd year player who was an UDFA last year is getting the surprise start at Right Tackle with RT Britton (2nd round pick from '09) moving to LG in an attempt to get the 5 best guys on the field. He made a surprise start last year at LT, not RT, in Pittsburgh when Britton woke up and couldn't move (back), and Monroe (starting LT) had a shoulder issue at the last minute. He went on to stifle Pitt's DL and thoroughly impressed the coaching staff and it seems to have carried over to the new coaching staff.

Gonna be a fun one, Coughlin coming back again to his old stomping grounds where he was the GM and Head Coach for the first time in the NFL.
