This is why AI was nothing more than a glorified, ball-carrying chucker. If he had half the work ethic of Mike or Bean, we would have some hardware right now instead of being broke and still wearing baggy choppa suits he bought 9 years ago.

AI was a beast for his size. He was a chucker but he did what he was suppose to do. Score.
In-season practice is over rated. Off season is where u improve your game most which im
sure he was putting in the work. He didn't get those handles on the couch.

Look lets be honest AI couldnt co exist with stack........he couldnt co exist with larry hughes..........so they decided to build around AI and surround him with players that were cerabral and hardworkers essentially i whole team of role players and AI..........so basketball is a team sport so to totally say AI wasnt good and just a glorified ballhandler and shot taker is quite unfair.....yet to be fair he did do it to himself........but you have to take the good with the bad with AI and from a marketing point of view and from a business point of view AI sold sold sold sold..........and he also took his team by himself to the finals and one at leasat one game from the video game team that was the Lakers..........u need to go back and watch the film.........single handly beat Kobe and Shaq.........even if it was one game........AI like 140 lbs wet and 6ft tall give the man some fukin credit............we already know the Fakers and the Yankees are the best teams money can buy........so if u wanna cheer for a team that buys championships hey be my guest.......anyone can do that...........cheer for a winning team

THIS! Boys so blinded by all that flash and the crossover that they fail to see that AI outcasted himself from the league. It's one thing to play with your heart and soul but if you cant be a good professional then all that gets thrown out the window.

to be professional.........this dude makes me laugh......are u serious? they arent applying for a business position or ceo of a company..........most guys that hoop and play on suday lets be honest are thugs........they mostly come from extreme poverty and have been passed all through school.........and u want them to be professional after u give them millions of dollars ..........damn u need to re evalute what u talking about..........the guys are thugs they gonna act like thugs..........but because jeremy lin came from stanford and is asian and played decent for like 30 games u wanna talk !! about AI..........u wrong for that.......Lin about to get exposed this year and Houston about to look very stupid for paying that man all that money........hopefully his better with money then most athletes cuz he gonna be on that bench by next year real talk............these young pgs now just to athletic and fast........i wish him the best and dont ever post hate threads on AI again........he changed the game fooooooo!!!!

Rather you see if that way or not, at the end of the day all professional sports leagues are professional organizations. These players are a representation of their team, their coach, the city the play for and they are also role models (even if they don't want to be seen as one). They are expected to carry them selves in a professional manner. Just because these guys makes millions of dollars to play a game, it doesn't mean they aren't in a professional organization...they take home pay check every two weeks like the rest of America for their work.
