He was really beyond his time. My Dad put me on to the Pistol when i was young and I'm glad to say I put my son on to the Pistol now too. That movie about him when he was a kid is one of the best basketball movies ever.

He would have averaged 55-60 ppg in college if they had a 3 point line. He is also probably the best college player ever imo.

& Even when it just came into the league a lot of nba coaches weren't practicing it because they thought it was a gimmick. If players back in the day actually practiced that !! growing up like kids do now, !! woulda got real.

and he was in one of top conferences as well

Pistol played for his dad who was the coach and his team was awful, only one of the reasons why he scored so much. Now dont get me wrong he was freaking awesome, a superb player, but his play was a little inflated. No hate intended
