Last night, when the Patriots drafted Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallett in the third round, NFL network analyst and former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner sent Tom Brady a text message asking him about the selection. Brady, according to Warner, was ambivalent.
Brady plans to play another 10 years - Extra Points - Boston.com

"I did text Tom Brady after this pick and he wanted me to know for sure that he was planning on playing 10 more years,” Warner said.

Brady is coming one of the greatest season in NFL history, been named the first ever unanimous MVP as well as collecting offensive player of the year honors after throwing for a leauge high 36 TD passes while only getting intercepted an amazing low number of 4 times.

The Patriots drafted Arkansas QB Ryan Mallett in the 3rd round of the draft, possibly because the value of the player was too much to pass on in the 3rd round, some believe he will be Brady's successor in a number of years while other believe he will be traded for an high pick once he proves he can stay away from off the field problems... either way, from Brady's side of it, it does seem like he isn't going any where soon.

Explains why he was dropping into the fetal position in that playoff loss..........trying to stay healthy so he can play for 10 more years.

Hmmm im not sure.... he never had a real strong arm to begin with ... when that arm strength dips below to about a 70 or 80 on Madden you would think the offense would have to be more conservative. He's def. going to need a major runningback in the near future (not counting Woodhead btw)

You seen Brett Farve who had a rocket for an arm and when his arm went he couldn't make the same plays

But then again Brady is 10 times better at making the right decisions in the clutch.

i doubt it'll happen. but i think he was just sorta speaking figuratively, ya know, trying to get the point across that he feels good and all that...

I cant really see the Patriots letting the value just grow old and die out on the field........the Patriots way is to get value out of !! they dont want anymore.........I really want to see if they gonna allow buddy to retire a Pat.
