David Jones -- CB -- 6-foot, 196 pounds
A fifth-round draft pick in 2007 out of Wingate, Jones played his first three seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals and the last two with the Jacksonville Jaguars. In those five seasons he appeared in 54 games, starting 12. He has 67 tackles, 11 pass defense and one interception.

Morgan Trent -- CB -- 6-foot-1, 187 pounds
The former University of Michigan standout was a sixth-round draft pick in 2009. In three seasons with the Bengals, Colts and Jaguars he's played in 36 games, tallying 70 tackles, 11 pass defenses and three interceptions.

Syd'Quan Thompson, CB, 5-foot-9, 191 pounds
A seventh-round selection out of Cal in 2010, Thompson played in 13 games as a rookie with the Denver Broncos, posting 18 tackles, four pass defense, two interceptions. He ruptured his ACL in the preseason last year, forcing him to miss the entire 2011 season. He cut by the Broncos two weeks ago.

Derrick Martin -- S -- 5-foot-10, 198 pounds
A sixth-round pick by Baltimore in 2006 out of Wyoming, Martin spent his first three seasons in Baltimore before stints in Green Bay and New York (Giants). The five-year veteran has played in 61 games and registered 92 tackles, eight pass defenses and three interceptions.

Tyrell Johnson -- S -- 6-foot, 207 pounds
A former second-round pick (2008), Johnson has the most starting experience of anyone the Lions worked out. In 49 games he has posted 123 tackles, 10 pass defenses and two interceptions.
