If cam plays like he did in weeks 1+2, Carolina covers that !! easily. If not and he lets his rookie show (which is far from unlikely), they won't. Simple as that, yeah JAC has MJD and he is a beast but unless Cam has a bad show (or if Carolina's defense breaks down), should be a good bet.

That type of !! can be said about any game on any week though, if a teams QB doesn't do well or if a defense doesn't play up to it's potential then we all have problems. There are plenty of games I like more than the CAR vs JAX game but I did put a little bread on it.

Certainly nothing to bet the house on.

You can study patterns, trends, etc to get more of a handle on how things will play out as opposed to not knowing anything.

Take the Eagles for instance. They got the Giants this week. I don't believe the odds are out for that yet (Everybody waiting to see what happen with Vick) but say the line came out Eagles -6.5. Some might say, Giants should cover that no problem or something along those lines. But if we look at what the Eagles do whenever they put ANY backup QB in. They usually stick with the same gameplan, that's only has minor adjustments to fit the specific QB's style. They still go long, get McCoy on screens, etc. So in essence, you kind of gotta figure that they will still up points without their playmaker.

With the Jags (and we already saw a glimpse of it at the end of the Jets games), they might want to play it safe, draw up a lot of screens, hooks, short routes which can lead to a slow game for them while Cam lighting it up. On the flipside, if they do like they say and let him run off instinct then its possible that he may air it out.

Which one sound more certain to you? Eagles or Panthers beating the Jags. And that's not even factoring in the defenses, other facets of the offense, etc. That's just going off QB play. We know if you put a random QB in the Eagles system, he's likely to succeed. You can't call it with the Jags, especially when you get a person who's never played a full NFL game.

I get what you're saying. Like you said, this is a game for a small bet probably and I still might do something like a straight wager for it. I'm just offering a different perspective. I just wouldn't include it in a parlay. And those lines WILL probably move again before Sun. Probably better off doing a teaser.
