barron would be good thats why they might trade up in top 10 but rather unlikely...

the way brockers or poe been scaled up i would not mind them being on the team 1 bit

I'd much rather go safety as well but this is just the way the eagles always draft. We'll attempt to fill the safety void on day 2

NEW YORK -- First, Tim Tebow. Now -- maybe -- Trent Richardson? There's building buzz that the New York Jets might be interested in trading up from No. 16 to the fourth overall pick, currently held by the Browns, in a bid to acquire the game-breaking Alabama tailback. Richardson said he got a call from the Jets, who wanted his contact information, on Sunday when he arrived in New York City. With new offensive coordinator Tony Sparano looking to re-est@blish coach Rex Ryan's "Ground and Pound" identity, the multidimensional Crimson Tide back, who is widely considered the best back to enter the draft since Adrian Peterson went to the Vikings at No. 7 in 2007, would seem to be an ideal target. New York's Shonn Greene hasn't yet proven an elite back capable of carrying an every-down load. Given that and Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum's past willingness to rocket up the board -- he did a deal with Cleveland in 2009 to move up 12 notches for USC QB Mark Sanchez -- the Richardson rumors may not be far-fetched. With most teams in the draft's Top 10 interested in trading back, the Jets may have picked the right time to pounce. Question is, would they actually have to deal with the Minnesota Vikings (owners of the No. 3 pick) if Richardson is their man? "I would love it," Richardson said of the prospect of going to the Jets. "I don't feel bad about playing for any football team. Playing in the NFL is big.'' NFL Network draft analyst Mike Mayock said the Jets might also be interested in Richardson's former teammate, Alabama safety Mark Barron. But if they have a deal in mind, they also seem to have the right timing. "The teams that want to trade down will be more open to negotiating a lower level point total," Mayock said of the price Tannenbaum may have to meet. "Just give something to move down several picks. "If I really want to get out (of a given draft slot), if the (trade value) chart tells me I need a second rounder and sixth rounder, would I be just as happy to take a third (rounder) and go? I think you're seeing more of that.''
