.. & Canucks finally came out tonight, knew they were gonna start the year off horrible.

Loving the LA Kings this year though, one of my favourite teams to watch. If they stay healthy easily could make a chase for the Cup.

but hollllly !! did my boys !! the bed last night. stopped watching after it was 5-1 but god damn ive never seen a goalie play so well and still get 5 goals scored on him. brutal rebounds and even worse play in front of our net. you know burke is gonna be in that dressing room telling those defensemen to man the !! up or get healthy scratched like komi. that was hard to watch. dont get me started on kessel either, and i dont buy that fatigue story its too early in the season not to be able to play back to back games. we should have been sharper no doubt.

i cant believe im saying this but im really liking the addition of david steckel. that was a steal. the guy is winning 70 percent of his draws and if he can score even 15 goals this year while doing that he should be a force.

Leafs D needs to show up, basically the only reason most of them have a decent +/- is because Kessel has been playing out of his mind(and Kessel cant have a 3 point night every night, i have no beef with him not finding the scorers sheet last night) i mean even when i'm knocking Reimer i do it knowing that he's not getting enough support from his defensemen but Franson is the 1 guy i have no problem with Wilson pointing his finger at and telling him to sit down.

there's no planet david steckel gonna score 15 goals on. his previous career high is 8. if he can crack 10 we have to be ecstatic. he's not really that talented, he's just amazing at faceoffs. but if he ain't winning those, he can be a liability out there imo (aside from the PK). we'll see if he can keep the faceoff production going. he lost many key ones in the boston game which led to goals, he didn't have a good game really, but every other game he's been nothing short of a beast in the circle so can't complain.

The Vancouver Canucks have acquired forward David Booth from the Florida Panthers for M. Samuelsson and Marco Sturm. Along with Booth the Canucks also received Steven Reinprecht and a third round pick in 2012. Booth, the center piece of the deal, will be a nice addition for the Canucks. Last season he had 23 goals and 17[..]ists. He should fit in nicely with Ryan Kesler on the second line. His fantasy value gets a boost for sure.

na they don't and we as caps fans know that better than anybody.

but over the least 3-4 seasons this is is the most complete caps team from top to bottom we have had. we have the perfect balance of star players, role players future stars, and a legit goalie.

no excuses this season. its do or die.

I didnt get to see much of the bruins sharks game but pretty disappointed Bs couldnt get the win, need to start winning these home games..we open up the season with a ton of home games...gotta capitalize
