they sent kadri down to the marlies yesterday. i dont think hes in the lineup. steckel and lombardi are 3 and 4th line centers but i guess ill have to look again. but yeah i was about to say im really excited to see kessel against boston. i think he might have like 2 career points against them, they always shut him down so itll be sick to see him go out there in boston on this streak. go buds

edit: you are correct sir he was called up today. i have to say im not impressed with the young man these past couple of seasons. hes beefed up but he needs to stop playing like its the OHL.

no hate or anything, but it looks like youre from cali. what makes you a buds fan? i just dont meet a lot of people outside of canada, or around Toronto that cheer for the leafs.

o my dad was from Toronto & he grew up watching the Leafs, so he would always tell me stories about the players he grew up watching and we'd always watch Leafs games together

not sold on ovy being a top 2-5 player anymore. 1 game isnt gonna get me on his wagon again. he's going to have to beast all season. but he played great tonight.

dont give a !! about voukun. hes good enough to win with. problem with the caps is not defense its the fact that they don't score in the playoffs. all the "stars" disappear.

but we gonna brag over these reg season wins while we can [pic] as a young DC sports fan we don't these kind of opportunities often.

personally i think this is the deepest and most talented caps team over the last 4 seasons by far. im loving all of our role players and we might even have some up and coming stars (johanson) we'll see.

kadri played an excellent game. easily our best player imo. i like that ron shifted him to the 2nd line too midway through the game. he needs to see more ice-time with more talented players to get the most out of this team.

honestly monster played really well for most of the game. just looking at the box score u wouldn't think so, but both goalies were outstanding today. leafs defense on the other hand, awful. franson's a little !! in front of our net [pic] but none of them played well. also some dumb penalties in the 1st period put us in a huge hole. kessel was ghost btw too [pic]

other than that...our special teams on both sides was awful. !! powerplay and !! penalty k!ll. lost too many faceoffs early too which caused couple goals.

ah well. 2nd game on a back to back, we can redeem ourselves sat night in montreal.

oh and seguin looks good. still real young too. that trade could end up being a great deal for both teams.
