I do agree they fired him to quickly but I think he's a bit overrated. Especially offensively. But whatever I don't see how he's an above average head coach

The nets are not a bad team at all they got match up problems and depth out the[..]. They definitely don't gel together and maybe it's Avery system maybe that's why they fired him because the talent is there

i keep reading how you guys think avery's a good coach that got the short end of the stick (or wood according to michaelknight) but nobody has yet to even provide reasons why he is. like woj and many others have said...he's a control freak and his x's and o's are terrible..so what makes him such a good coach? does having charisma make you a good coach?
