| Anyone defending Dolan or the Knicks in general is an idiot. If I were a true fan...I'd probably be hiding under a rock, protesting the team by not watching, or just changing allegiance to the Nets right now. | |

you really believe that Lin is some kind of HOF superstar talent don't you? the fact is that the knicks played good and won some games with him beasting....... and when !! settled down and he played average/ and when he went out with the injury, they still played good and won games. why are you overreacting for Lin? | Honestly, the 3rd year 15million excuse is utter bull!! considering money isn't an issue for Dolan, considering he'd only get 5million the 1st two years. No matter how you cut it 25million over 3 years while being over the cap the entire time is still 25million of 3 years [pic] Add the fact that he'd more than make up for that money in merchandise sales in less than a year let alone 3... KnicksLost for going with Point Pillsbury. Last edited by Soraci7; 07-21-2012 at 12:29 PM..

Lin is not a make or break player for them. what can Lin do on the court, that Felton cant? when Lin went out, Knicks were winning games with Mike Bibby!

Stock fell 93million but not paying 15million in the 3rd year was worth that loss? From a business standpoint its stupid. Worse comes to worse he'd be a 15million expiring contract in year 3 which is valuable trade[..]et.

They pretty much told or implied Lin to have a sheet offered to him by another team. Dolan should have offered what he thinks Lin should be paid. I honestly believe if Dolan offered Jeremy a $15 million deal, he would have taken it. Probably not $15, but $20 at the most. Lin did what he was supposed to do, yet Dolan cries about loyalty? Really? That's[..] backwards. Outside of that bull!! logic, he gutted the team for Melo even when his intentions were New York no matter what. Now they're stuck with two overpaid players and lost out on a LOT of potential with Lin. At best he's a star, at worst he's a starter, for $20 mil or less, he could have been a Knick today. Even when the Stat/Melo era ends, Dolan will still be around. The franchise is doomed to never win, because they have an owner who is a petty man. He panics for no reason, and cries when !! hits the fan. Daddy may have given this man the team, but he still needs someone to hold his hand. People in New York have little reason to support the team for as long as Dolan bets against himself like this. Last edited by Hovi Bryant; 07-21-2012 at 03:11 PM..

| We pay the dude the 25 million, we lose for buying into the hype. We don't but into the hype, we lose for not doing so. niccas make no sense. Having Lin around was fun. nicca amped up the whole city, it was cool. This nicca was not gonna lead us anywhere though . He got exposed by the heat.. The niccas that we want to pass in years to comee to make a chase at the title. Felton is not leaps and bounds better than Lin, but I'm happy Dolan got butt hurt and decided to move in a new direction . You can't keep throwing money at !! and hoping it works. I don't have faith in Lin, at all. wish nicca the best, but I'm happy we moved in a different direction | |

| I'm curious to see if Lin was just another product of Mike D'Antoni's run and gun, pick and roll, style of play. | |
