This an informative documentary about how NCAA is !!in over college players. They make $700 off the ncaa tourny only (not regular season, NIT, and other !!).

Personally I dont think they should get paid but they should get better school and do something to help families on a means tested (verified that your moms is broke help her get a job and education or even give your lil bro and sister a scholarship). and !! paying the AD $2 mill a year.

Like the man said "Cbs gave the NCAA $10 billion to broadcast the tourney for 14yrs (about $700 a year) and the players get none of it" they get put in basketball games they get none and only 40 percent of the black players graduate... while ADs make like 2mill a year.

The new hot thing to do is whine about these college players not getting paid and it has gotten old

the ones that deserve to get paid, do already...$100 handshakes galore...even the bums on the teams are getting paid as evident in the latest Auburn football and UConn basketball allegations.

if they want to blame anything, blame title IX...no one gives a damn about women's sports and they don't make a dime off of them but they gotta have them...it sucks up money to do it

if the kid doesn't want to learn while he's on a college campus, that's on him...pick an easy major and get a degree then go from there

Yea they get something but compared to what others who get(people sitting on there[..]) the are getting the !!ty end of the deal. I am for making sure that the players graduate, helping their sister and brother out scholarship and giving 90% of the profit away to schools to improve education. no one working at the ncaa should be making over $250k. the president of the ncaa make like 3million a year with all the benefits.

Well heres what no one talks about:

If a player has a career ending injury than thats it its over. your[..] is done no more free school for you. Aside from that if you really want to talk about Education.

Then the student athletes are !!ed! my roommate was given fill in the blanks and shade in the bubble type of[..]ignments LMAO

how the !! is that going to enhance the intellectual development of a young person? Their is no emphasis place on meeting and overcoming the obstacles (academically) that have been placed in front of the students. Student athletes don't know a damn thing about critically analyzing Faulkner, any other type of literature.

nicca run with the ball. thats it thats where it starts and stops. Very few of the ones that do get degrees actually have the propensity to apply the information that was given to them.

if you watch the video they give out a piece of information I never knew. They don't give out 4-year scholarships :lostit0: .......they can drop you after the first year if they wanted. that's crazy !!.

Scholarships have been one year contracts for as long as I can remember. You have to sign for that !! every year

extaclty they can drop u when ever most ppl dont know that. anyone who doesnt think players should get more is either jealous there not a player or just stupid. NCAA biggest pimps on the planet players should at least get jersey sales or something. dont give me this free EDcu bs its there school so the vaule of the scholar ship is way lower then what they say.

where did I compare them to regular students? I just said they're living better than regular ones and all students matter to a university, period. There are is only a small percentage of people that play compared to the university. I played football in college how are you going to tell me? Like I don't know. Student athletes get hand outs(passing grades, money from alumni, etc.) and they could leave just like any other regular student could.

I like it as one year. If you !! up you lose the contract, you dont you get to keep it. I think its difficult to award 4 year scholarships to athletes when the academic requirements to retain the scholarship is way lower than the regular students who have to maintain much higher yearly to keep theirs.

Its a messed up situation from every angle. I can make an argument for all sides and in the end somebody is gonna feel slighted or get !!ed in the process.

and to further break down how scholarships work,u still hav to fill out a fasfa,meanin that finacial aid covers majority of that cost and tha university covers whateva cost financial aide doesnt.cooler schools will giv athletes tha difference in a refund but im sure alotta schools just pocket tha difference

so if a kid gets a 10k scholarship,aide covers 8,tha university actually only covers 2k

takin purdue for instance who just resigned painter at 2.3 mill annually.u mean to tell me that 1 million cant compensate every athlete at that school

You're confused dude. I am well versed in how things operate on the collegiate level. You can go clown some of these idiots who dont know a lot of what goes on. Preciate the reply though
