when it comes to talent evaluation, you really gotta skip Jordan's opinions lol. He wanted the Bulls to keep Oakley instead of getting Horace Grant. Even back then his talent evaluation sucked.

Not to mention in his prime he still benefited from a lot of calls, not sure how that would translate to an era that was more physical and less whistles.
there was more free throw attempts when jordan played then there is now....

michael got to the line more than wade in their primes...

as for the jordans comment he better be talking about remaining star players because the majority of the nba today would be on an nba roster in his era.

There's a short list of point guards in this era who Stockton would struggle with and Westbrook isn't on it.

But if MJ's definition of 'survival' in his era means successful careers, then that list is pretty accurate with Pierce and KG added to that list.

jordan thought kwame brown and adam morrison would be successful in this era, so i don't care much for his evaluation of talent

Jordan isn't lying. He looks at basketball skills and a grasp of the game in the era he played in. A lot of guys now would make teams and be solid players but his answer was based on who would be at or near the success they have now or have had in the league and how they would play in his era not who would make the NBA or be a marginal star.

ni##as tripping bringing up KG but at the same time be the first mu####as posting Anthony Peeler gifs when trashing KG. If Peeler would do that what the #### you think all that popping off KG does would have gotten him when you could clothesline a ni##a and not get kicked out the game. KG would have gotten punked on the regular in those days.

people on here forget there are different rules in that era too such as illegal d and handchecking. lebron dominate against jordan? jordan would just grab lebricks hip and force him left into a j everytime but really though saying stockton wouldn't do the same to russ. getting rid of handchecking is why we have westbrooks and roses and walls now. there were fast ni##as before there was just rules set in place so u don't have the fastest ni##a in the world just trying to evade people all day

also people in here saying kg, sure he has the skills to play in that era but that ni##a wouldn't dare talk to the bigs from the 90's like he does the modern soft kids. malone would've given kg stiches to 1, 2, ####it 7 eyes. yes 7, kg would be gettin them #### reopened everytime he goes to utah

lebron would #### all over them skinny 6'3 dudes in the late 80's early 90's. the 80's and early 90's "big men were skinny as #### and not all that tall. you were working on your post game if you were 6'8 back then. mj the goat but ni##a is a dummy. the game is faster, stronger and played above the rim then it was back then. payton and kemp wouldn't get to the finals in the west conference if they had to go up agaist these spurs, okc, clippers of now. the game has evolved. what made mj great was that he was ahead of his time. that era is over rated as ####.mj paved the way but that competition was not great at all.

those were called UNCALLED FOULS. and mj guarding lebron??? mj would get tired of getting posted up and getting manhandled in the paint. mj guarded smaller players when he was at his best.

yeah lebron would've been posting up mj with the post up skills he barely acquired in his 10th season
scottie would handle lebron too, #### lebron would never get no rest, also u think lebron will have the energy to gaurd mj all day and play the same offense where he can't always sprint and jump over most ni##as cus they held his waist not allowing him to do what he wants
