miami !!ted on the whole east last year in the playoffs tho...its not like anybody tested them when it counted.....they are just on another level from the east.

Speaking as a Prince James hater, I can't hate.. because Chicago wasn't beating Miami WITH Derrick Rose.

They got bodied last year in 5 games and they could only beat my Sixers, a team that gets DESTROYED by Miami, by a dirty dozen WITH rose.

It wasn't gonna be this year. Rip may have helped make things interesting for maybe a 6 game series but idk if it'd be enough to say "MIAMI WOULD SURELY GET BODIED!!!, THEM GETTING OUT THE EAST IS SUSPECT!!" [pic]

That said, I'm still suspect that Miami can handle Boston. Rondo is gonna be a mutha!!in problem.

Even with no injuries Miami's only challenge was Boston. And still is.

NO ONE else was a threat in the East.

Injuries are a facet of the game..deal with it.

If anything, this shortened season was more grueling than 82 game season..players were more fatigued; the schedule was crazier; not much time to prep etc..

yeah I don't like Lebron or the Heat, but if they win, they win. No asteriks imo. There was injuries everywhere but that is what happens in the NBA. If they win they earned it

there will be an asterisk....

imagine this as if the NBA were a marathon that was based on skill and endurance. instead of running 82 miles, the race is 66 miles.... it changes the dynamics. yes they will be the champion of that race, but you cant really compare it to a champion of a full race. its like a boxing match being only 3 rounds or a football game with only 2 quarters... all sports require a certain level of endurance; physical and mental.

on a side note tho.... even tho i hate the heat, any year they fail to win the 'ship is a huge fail cuz they should win it every year with that damn team.
