releasing goudelock is cheaper than releasing morris. besides the fact that morris is a point and they have higher hopes for morris than goudelock. I agree, he is a nice shooter, but what else does he bring to the table? he's not good defensively or a good play maker. he couldn't play point and is an undersized shooting guard, with no athletic ability. he could help another team out, that needs someone to come off the bench and just score, but with the lakers, there's no space for him. people act like they didn't see this coming.

I do like DJO better than goudelock, but there's no guarantee that the lakers is keeping him. I think they should, but I think they want a 14 man roster so they have more flexibility.

I don't understand why they need Steve Blake AND Chris Duhon.

Teams are only supposed to have one terrible old backup PG who gets to stay in the league 'just because'. They're holding 2 of these dudes?

steve blake is gonna work better under the new offense. morris has a guaranteed contract, so it's cheaper to waive goudelock, not to mention he's a big point that they have high hopes for and and he brings more to the table. I don't know about duhon though; they could get rid of him, but they can't trade him until next year. they would have to waive him and pay him what is owed, but still cheaper to waive goudelock.

Odom is better from what I've heard. I liked Goldie's game but he was never going to get any pt. Mike Brown proved that last year when we needed a shooter the most. Blake & Duhon [pic]
