Lakers have no reason to trade Pau AND Bynum for Dwight even in a sign and trade. Lakers have the upper hand. They can just give Bynum. UNLESS for including Pau in the deal we get another 2-3 decent players (which won't happen seeing as they've been trying to give Pau away for over a year w/ no good deals on the table)

why do you think the lakers would trade both bigs for dwight? antawn jamison could play both 3 and 4, unless they're thinking about landing both dwight and josh smith.
