Get off the angel dust. Why the hell do you think he thanked the man? I know. Because Kobe was the rabbit that he was chasing for his entire career. Though the potential was there, and though he had a couple years where he rivaled him, he never reached Kobe's level.

Same outcome.The fact of the matter is, those Laker teams struggled, fought, and clawed their way to multiple championships and Kobe led those teams ALONGSIDE other great players.
