A thread and debate all over something that will never be proven as fact is pretty stupid to me. If you like Kobe better than Jordan or vice versa so be it. Its your opinion why do you need to tell me that mine is wrong if I choose to feel Jordan is better. I aint gonna tell you that your opinion is wrong so dont tell me mine is wrong.

In the end, there is no GOAT only GOATIMO because there is now way it can be a fact. There can be a fact of who's the better shooter or rebounder or some #### like that based on stats but there is no definitive way to say somebody who played in one era is better than a guy who played in another era. I cant say Jordan is better than Wilt or Bill Russell or Tommy Heinsohn or anybody else the same way I cant say Kobe is better.

WELL UNFORTUNATELY..... we are never going to see Michael Jordan in his prime against Kobe in his. We're all entitled to our own opinion but no one will ever really win this debate. Personally, I think the NBA was more competitive in the 90's (good defense actually existed... and like dude said, teams were stacked). Jordan is the King!

Soon as Shaq left we seen Kobe struggle mightily also.. He missed the playoffs once and constantly got eliminated.. no one man can do it alone.. Lets not forget Kobe was on the brink of joining the Bulls in fear his legacy would be tarnished if the Lakers didn't make immediate changes..

I bet MJ wouldn't have been Shaq's 2nd option.. We know that for a fact, just by the type of ego MJ has.. He would never settle for being someones second options, and wouldn't give a #### if he pissed Shaq off or not in the process..

WIth that said, Kobe still top 5..
are you smoking crack???? kobe top 5 all time

This is plain dumb as #### because this is to make kobe look better than micheal. when its obvisous that kobe is a jordan protege that can shoot threes and thats it. and in those stretches when kobe put all those points he had nobody on his team same as when jordan put up his best numbers, plus jordan took much better shots without a three point shot with FG% of 50 /thread and :gtfoh:

I can't name 5 players I'd rather have than Kobe..

MJ,Wilt,Kareem, & Magic are the only players I'd consider over Kobe..

MJ and Kareem being the two I would undoubtedly take... Mixed emotions with Magic/Wilt(only because I havent seen much video footage) if I would take ahead of him.. Either way he's in MY top 5.. And I think he's probably one of the most unappreciated Legendary players ever to play..
