T-Mac in his prime was the best pure scorer in the league. He couldn't have been any better.

Anyways I have to go with Melo. He just does what he wants on offense.

melo has the all around offensive scoring that not too many players have, including durant

how do you call a guy the best pure scorer when he doesnt know what a zone defense looks like? you have to factor in things like reading the defense, which t-mac wasnt always capable of doing

Durant is gonna be the best or 2nd best player in the league pretty soon...if not already. Replace any teams best player with Durant except Cleveland and they're instantly a better team or maybe title contender in some situations

Melo is the best pure scorer in the league

He can shoot 3, he can post up, he take you off the dribble, he can catch and shoot, he has one of the best midrange games in the league, he gets to the free throw line

Lebron is a top 5 scorer but he is not the best. He cant do what Carmelo does on the court scoring wise.

Once I see Lebron score of posting up consistently, add more offensive moves to his game, and shoot like Carmelo, then he is not above Melo.

So....?

Lebron is not a complete scorer...His % is high cause he dunks or goes for a lay up half the times....Melo and Durant shoot it from outside more and still have 48% FG or around there....They are 2 of the few complete scorers in NBA...meaning they can score in anyway possible whenever they choose to...[pic]
