How is a guy who is considered "the worst coach in the NFL" by EVERYONE "overrated"?

let me school you guys real quick. preseason games 1 and 2 dont mean !!. they're just contact practices for the starters. preseason game 3 is when you see the starters try hard. preseason game 4, the starters just try and make it through it healthy, no real effort involved.


so what do you look for in the preseason... you look at how the 2nd and 3rd string players do, because they are playing for jobs and playing time.

for some teams preseason may not mean anything.. for some teams.. it means a lot more.. different for each team.

Browns for instance.. new coach.. new offense. young qb. new defense. Seeing them put together a win w/ only 2 weeks of practice means a lot under those circumstances. Seeing everything click in a sense is good for the players and coaches.

Young teams, or teams w/ a lot of turn around ... preseason means something.

same things for the Lions these last few years. Its nice to see your future
