Jones is just saying the risk aren't worth the payoff. The counter striking style of Machida makes him a huge risk for anyone trying to fight him. And if your going to fight a high risk fighter as the champion, the payout should at least reflect that.

machida gave the man problems in the first round, and yes, caught him. he has an unorthodox style and is a southpaw....very hard combination for another fighter to figure out. i'm sure is he was offered more money or dana put the contract in front of his face, like, look, this is who you're fighting again, he would do it. or son just could be saying that, knowing he beat him already, knowing that this could be his next opponent if he beats hendo, just to start the hype up. just like chael is now running around saying that he can do this and that to jon jones. yea right.
