Jacksonville Jaguars/Coaches/Fans Watch Sanya Richards-Ross Win Gold (Video)

Jacksonville Jaguars CB Aaron Ross' wife is Sanya Richards-Ross. Before signing to the Jags from the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants he asked GM Gene Smith and coach Mike Mularkey if he could take a couple days off training camp to watch his wife go for gold in London at the 2012 Olympics. Gene Smith and Mularkey stressed the importance of family and how they wanted to build a culture of family in Jacksonville and told him absolutely.

The week leading up to his trip to London, Aaron Ross told the media his teammates kept asking him how she was doing, when he was going to head out to London to see her, and for her to bring back the gold medal to Jacksonville. He even said they seemed more excited about it than he was.

Sanya Richards-Ross of course, went on to win the gold, he's a picture of Aaron Ross watching his wife's press conference in which she said she's a, "very happy, happy Jaguar, a lady Jaguar." Showing support for her husband and his new team.



The Jags had a 3 PM training camp practice today and afterwards informed the fans in attendance that they could join the Jaguars inside the stadium to watch Sanya Richards-Ross go for gold in the 400 meter race in London.

He did what was best for him and his family. The Giants weren't gonna pay him, so he went to where he got the best deal.
