All dude said was consideration

The hate is STRONG for Jeremy... This turnover ish is out of control... Yes he is turning the ball over but that is due to his style of play... That style of play is also responsible for him avg 25 and 8 as a starter he is also avg over 2 steals a game

Who cares about the turnovers if we are winning... He will adjust and hopefully cut down the turnovers but I will take the turnovers with all the positives dude is providing

The hate is blatant.. Kid has the Knicks on an 8-1 stretch and now the Mavs are not that good

so the knicks were 8-15 before lin started getting significant play time and now they're 8-1 at .500.
If you watch the games how can you not see thats a direct correlation to his game. Even just watching today did you see how they quickly lost a 12 point lead when shump was playing point?

yeah the turnovers are sh*tty (keep in mind he just began getting serious play time AND is playing about 40 mins a game) but this dude IS the most valuable player on his team and the record proves so. OF COURSE he needs to sustain this level of play, and when/if he does he SHOULD be on the radar, hows is this so hard to get? Is being the MVP about stat sheets or about actually being the most valuable player??? I don't see the heat being as sh*tty as the knicks were without lebron.

MVP shouldn't be discussed unless something happens to LeBron.

^^^^true.

But if he were to play the rest of every game this season the way hes played so far, hes 2nd behind LBJ, in front of KB24, and I'm a Kobe d!ck rider...

He just beat the World Champs moron. Or are you so far down south that you don't have cable and weren't able to watch it like the rest of us.

He should be in the discussion for MVP. Doesn't mean he should or will win it.
the world champs with half their roster gone

knicks fans are dumb as all hell.

1. Jeremy Lin is not Steve Nash sooo idk what you're getting @ by saying Nash won it twice.
2. In the games Lin has started, hes averaging 7.2 turnovers a game, how many MVP'a average that many turnovers?

I think Lin is a nice story and all, but MVP? Not imo.
But look at the obvious turnaround since he came in.. they've lost 1 game.

I don't think that's happening, and his turnovers are still too high. Melo coming back will take his points down, guaranteed.

But, if this system stays in place I can't see why he can't turn into a Steve Nash type player in the future, along with the fact he is a threat driving to the rim and in the lane.

1 off-season for him with all the resources he'll have available...

THIS! Finally somebody broke it down proper.

People gotta remember he plays insane minutes and against the other team's best defender, plus gets constant double-teams. And this is his FIRST time ever playing against this caliber level of basketball players. These are veterans who know all the tricks of the trade. It's like any QB starting for the first time. No matter how great he is, of course he's going to end up throwing picks his first time out there. What he's done to make up for his turnovers is a bigger story. Steals, a.ssists, points, and also causing turnovers on the other end. He's taken great charges and forced opponents to make bad passes plenty of times. Yall need to watch the whole game instead of just looking at stat sheets.

Not saying I'm ready to put him in the MVP race yet but later in the season if the Knicks have keep winning at this pace, it will have to at least be mentioned in the discussion.
I wish some one would break down that misleading bullsh*t first 4 started games statistics.
