And do yall want Yoba in the pen or rotation?
dude..the red sox did the same thing with Papelbon...well sort of..
they gave him about 2-3 starts and he did pretty well..yanks simply brought him in the bullpen so he can face the pressure now so that he can feel more comfortable next year (08 or 09)..

Duncan should be playing football dude is mad amped....glad to have him on our team....before we couldn't buy a hit or a healthy pitcher...now look at how the line up is hitting and pitching and we have the deepest bench in all of baseball

thats pretty good, idk about Santana or Zambrano..but even if you add both, i would say you pretty much are match up with the red sox if not more.
Bucholz,Bowden and Masterson haven't even pitched a major league pitch yet. Lester is a #4 starter at best in the AL. Matsuzaka and Beckett are a great 1-2 punch though.

and chamberlin has pitched all of 4 innings...Hughes has pitched 4 games and has a 4.64 era and yall want to enshrine them into the HOF.

Not much difference between comparing any of them since they are all unproven.

Now, i wouldnt conclude to Lester being a #4 starter just yet. the guy is 23 and he just came back from cancer. (even though hes pitching like last year). so if anything, i still think he has alot of potential to be a #2 at best. but its gonna take 2-3 more years for him to develop.
so as of right now, i view him as a work in progress.
Now, going back to what you said about bowden/masterson/bucholz, you're right they havent pitched in the Majors just yet, but until they do they have high potential..and thats all we can classify them as..Prospects.

ive been sayin this forever about the yankees....they need to stop paying for over-priced free agent "talent" and continue to develop their farm system....

only reason we were so good in the 90's was our core of homegrown talent...

i.e jeter, posada, mariano, pettitte, bernie
I make this point with every Yankee hating [!] I have a discussion with. They always wanna talk about free agent money but the Yankee core has always been homegrown and now is no different.

Wang, Chamberlain, Hughes and then there's another starter in the minors that's supposed to be real good too and we have a nice future rotation.

Then you have Cano, Cabrera, Duncan and Andy Phillips...we're lookin good for the future.

You sure about that, on the Yankees website under the projected starting pitchers it has Karstens?

EDIT:Just check the Yankees boards and it's true, Kennedy will be pitching this Tues.
