He was a 18/8 guy two seasons ago. He's got all the talent in the world and the size that this team DOESN'T have up front -- he's just a knucklehead who refuses to work hard. What happens when he's in a situation where everyone around him works their[..]es off, and pushes him to follow? That championship pedigree is a different situation. I don't see anything to lose with signing a guy like this to a 1-year vet min deal.... if he starts to act out and doesn't buy into the "Pat Riley way" then you waive his[..] and that's that. But if he does come around, wow, you have yourselves a hell of a player.

Just look at it like this.... would you rather take a chance on an actual serious talent like Blatche, or waste a roster spot on Eddy Curry or one of those bums from the summer league? We won a title with Eddy Curry, Juwan Howard, and Terrel Harris wasting space on the end of our bench last season. Blatche is significantly more talented and significantly better than all 3 of those guys put together at this stage.

I'd actually waive Pittman for him if we wanted to keep Harris and another guy.

You can keep harping on his stats and his talents and how good he can be but honestly with him going to Miami it'll be worse for his lazy habits.
