well, given that WILT wasnt some guy from the future (present day) playing against "bad" competition back then, its fair to say he is the best candidate for Penn's Greatest.. after all, his set of skills was limited to his time..

Point well taken. A small part of the reason why "the best player of all time" title is still up in the air to me. It's impossible to determine the "1" with all the variables you have to take into consideration.

Yeah, if you go back and look at who Wilt was playing, you can see why he got what he got. Nothing against him.. just a player that was dominant in his time like Jordan. Times have changed though. If you put Wilt in his prime against some of the big guys now, he wouldn't do nearly as good.

However, I'll roll with Wilt being a "greater" player than Kobe. Kobe still has a few titles to get.
