Bernard Hopkins is a greater f!ghter than Floyd. Being undefeated is not everything. Ali is the greatest heavyweight despite his losses. Because look at who he beat. Floyd let Pacquiao slip away. He don't want to f!ght Sergio or Canelo. He didn't want to f!ght Cotto when he was undefeated. These are missed opportunities that have hurt Floyd's legacy. He's like the WAC team that goes undefeated but is left out of the BCS due to schedule.

Boxing is subjective.. So you can make a strong case for Floyd. I do think he's the most talented boxer ever, but I don't think that makes him the best..

Are you really trying to use manny pacquaio as a basis for mayweathers resume and 17 year career? The man who just got put to sleep by the f!ghter mayweather completely outclassed?

As far as cotto goes, he's younger than floyd, was riding on a nice winning streak, and he fought floyd at his best weight light middle, stop it.

took out de la hoya with a 10 pound differential

nope...love floyd and one of the greatest ever (top 5 or 10 when his career is done) but he can't be mentioned as the greatest and kind of did it to himself...he just never fought the f!ghts everybody wanted to see when they wanted too....it wasn't all on him but at the end of the day there is a common denominator in all these f!ghts that don't get made when floyd is #1 p4p in the world and there is another guy who is right behind him

he's a beast but ruined what his legacy coud have been by not making the f!ghts happen....the sad #### is he would have prob beat all of them with only one or two maybe beating him..is it what it is. I mean look at his biggest f!ghts.....

1. Corrales - one of his best in my opinion...at the two top guys going at and he dominated....at the same time he knew something we didn't....he had beaten him in amateurs and knew Diego couldn't #### with him

2. Castillo - really split these 2 f!ghts which is why there was a rematch to begin with

3. Judah - This one doesn't even matter and what i was talking about. People wanted to see these guys for years and wasn't until kosta had zab doing the funky chicken that he decided to f!ght him...then zab was beat by a journeymen baldomir right before their f!ght

4. De La Hoya - not prime

5. Hatton - Biggest f!ght probably...even though i knew it wouldn't be a contest and floyd would embarress him that's not the point. This was the f!ght everybody called for and the top ranked guy behind him and he took the f!ght

6. Marquez - Impressive in my opinion even though marquez came up in weight....i don't think it had much to do with the result

7. Mosley - Not prime

8. Cotto - years after the fans wanted it similar to judah and cotto hasn't really been the same since that #### margarito beat him with cinder blocks

so i mean what top f!ghter that's going down as one of the greatest ever did he beat in their prime? Roy jones for instance....beating toney and hopkins is better then anything on floyds resume..and other greats have a rack of all time greats under belt. This isn't knocking floyd..that's a great resume and he's one of the greatest ever but he just didn't take on the f!ghters everybody wanted...and when he did for a few of them they were years later after those guys looked vunerable and nobody cared as much anymore

Bhop have by far the best resume in boxing out of all of the active f!ghters.

Floyd resume is the reason why he is not a greater f!ghter than hop. Name one f!ghter Floyd has under his resume is better than Felix Trinidad. If he fought a younger Shane, prime pacquaio, prime cotto and beat them like he should then he would be have an argument. But he waited till Shane had a 13 month layoff and was 38 years old, cotto after he got his a$s beat by margarita and pacquaio. Then he had another legacy f!ght offer from martinez(currently a shell of himself so too late for that f!ght) and Canelo. Dude could easily be greatest but he more into not f!ght for legacy and instead look for easy f!ghts.

you have to base some of that on May's carreer because he was too shook to f!ght pacman before he lost. At one point pac was the P4P king over May but he still wanted f!ght him

Do you watch boxing really??? When the Golden Boy himself said it wasn't Floyd's fault for the Pacman f!ght He said it on the Mayweather doc that just showed on ABC this pass Sat. It came on at 8 or 9 that night. Floyd also said Shane rocked him the best in his career with that punch that had him buckle during there f!ght. Oscar de la Hoya also said it was cause Bob Arum!!! Arum control all three of them. But Floyd left and that's when you got Oscar vs Floyd f!ght. Bob was still controlling Pacman when the f!ght was going to happen but??? #### watch the damn Doc its just call MAYWEATHER
