Floyd Mayweather Jr. Responds to 50 Cent 'Beef'

Floyd Mayweather Jr., five-division undefeated boxing world champion, recently spoke about the rumored discord between himself and best friend Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson.

It's not that we're beefin'. You gotta realize, 50, he travels a lot and he has other stuff," Mayweather told f!ght Hype recently. "He's got his headphones, he has his energy drink, you know, he makes appearances overseas, so he's very busy, and I'm making a lot of appearances, so a lot of times, two people may not always be on the same page, but that don't mean it's a hate-hate relationship. Everybody wants to see me and 50 bump heads."

However, Jackson seemed to have a different outlook on things when he spoke about Mayweather on "The Rickey Smiley Show" recently.

"[The issues between us] really comes from … everybody around him is waiting on the next time he feels generous. And I have a lot [of money], so I don't wait for nobody," the rapper said in the interview. "I'll go do what I gotta do. I don't have to sit around and wait for the next time he feels like giving somebody something."

Still, Mayweather refused to speak negatively about his rapper friend.
"Like I said before, no matter what he says about me in an interview, I'm always going to be positive. After my incident, it made me look at life in a total different way," Mayweather said. "When you hear things, like they say, '50 Cent went out there and done an interview and 50 said this and said that,'" well, if he's my real friend, no matter what he says about me, I'm still going to conduct myself in an orderly fashion."

"It's not a real friendship if he's my friend in January, but he's not my friend in February. That means we were never really friends, because when you have a real friendship, that's an unbreakable bond," Mayweather told f!ght Hype. "Real friends go through ups and downs and I don't believe in putting the media or the public in my business with my friends. So no matter what he said about me, I'm never going to speak negative about him."

According to Mayweather, there is no beef between him and the rapper.
"When people say beefin', beefin' in my eyes is something that enemies go through," the boxer said. "50 and I are not enemies."

Looks like Money May has changed his ways because of his stint... It would be good for his soul (not his career).

He's balling anyway, and when he and Pac f!ght, that'll pretty much have him covered for the rest of his life, so I hope he's changed...

Sitting in a room locked up with no contact from the outside world will change you. Hes not as vocal anymore, white America knew what it was doing by giving him solitary confinement on a charge that didn't warrant it. They blamed it on his celebrity that he needed to be separated. Famous people go to jail all the time, how many you hear about go to solitry confinement? None.

They did that to break his outspoken spirit, which made him special outside the ring.

And you think white america broke his outspoken spirit? Nah, he did a crime and was punished -- that probably humbled him. He still gonna be outspoken when 24/7 runs. And dude was locked for like 2 months, chill.

He didn't deflect ONE question. He handled it with cla#s, of which 50 has none.

Fifty airs out Lloyd banks and Yayo when they are not saying anything at all in the media. He airs them out when they don't even have a platform to defend themselves.

He is a horribly confused guy. No one even knew there was ANY blues with 50 and Floyd until Fif decided to inject absolute negativity on Floyd's whole lifestyle which has spawned a whole ocean of conjecture.

Fif lost... trust me... and soon he will see it.

A little off subject but Manny Pacquiao just conceded today that he'd give Floyd a 55-45% split to get the f!ght done next spring; he also will do full drug testing

Floyd has matured and he wants to focus on his beautiful girlfriend, his children & his career like a grown man is supposed to.

Prison will make you analyze your life and Floyd decided to distance himself from 50-Cent and the negativity that 50-Cent brings into the lives of everyone he has relationships with.

Good for Floyd.
