Fedor wins GOAT poll, in Brazil - Mixed Martial Arts News

By a large margin, Fedor Emelianenko defeated Anderson Silva in a poll about who's the best MMA fighter of all time.

The question about who's the best of all time in MMA always cause fiery discussions among the fans. Normally there's balance between those who point Anderson Silva as being the greatest ever, and those who prefer Fedor. However, that's not what was seen in this Portal do Vale Tudo poll.

People voted in the poll all August on the PVT homepage, and chose the Russian as the greatest of all time, with 73% of the votes. "Spider" stuck way behind, with only 12% of the votes. In third came Minotauro with 7%.

It's relevant to note that only one vote per ip was allowed, and the poll set a PVT record.

Fedor Emelianenko: 73%
Anderson Silva: 12%
Rodrigo Minotauro: 7%
Dan Henderson: 7%
Randy Couture: 1%

fake poll. sounds bogus

no way the spider is only at 12%..in brazil no less...i call bs on this, probably to spark controversy or something

imo, fedor doesnt even make it into discussion of goat. crushing 27-28 cans out of 33 wins is not impressive. fedor really only has 4-5 good wins, not to mention 4 losses, so if you want to be harsh his record is 4-4

Fedor in his prime though? He prob was the goat. In pride he was a beast! i always wanted to see him fight a top ufc heavyweight when he was in his prime.
