"I wanted to win as bad as anything in the world. I cried about it every day," said Durant, who added that the mourning lasted about a week, a little less than the time it took to physically recover from the NBA grind.

Asked which would mean more to him, the NBA Finals or the Olympics, Durant said, "Winning a gold medal would mean more because we lost in the Finals. ... To be labeled as the best team in the world would be a great feeling."

hate to say it, nobody really believes it when they say they want that medal more than the NBA ring. too many stars on that olympic roster and the credit gets diluted. Now that NBA ring, the glamour and glory that comes with it these stars would trade in the olympic medal for a ring anyday.

And I woulda done the same !!, playing on the biggest stage in sports will do that to you, I mean hell if I remember correctly Bron stayed in his house depressed for like a week or two.
