Do star college athletes really do schoolwork??

im getting tired of these steriotypes[pic] .

My homeboy is Jesse Palmer's cousin and Jesse told him that they had classes that you did zero work in and those special tutors would do the work for him. But those were back in the Spurrier days but maybe things have changed.

some do....i remember some guys on the U. Washington team were taking biochem finals during the NCAA tourney at the hotels two years ago....like dude said it all depends on the school.....im going to rutgers and the football,track, basketball, and some other sports get special tutoring......but they do enforce the rules cuz i kno some dudes on the football cant even come to school cuz they grades were !!ed...so they gotta take classes to get they !! straight before they can even come to school

i remember roy williams from texas had some major called Youth and community studies, im sure those classes had you up until 3am studying :rolleyes:
That just one that i remember seeing but a lot of players also go with sociology and physc which anybody can tell you isnt too hard to pass, oh and the worldwide famous liberal arts major now that major really takes lots of attention and commitment to the library to get through [pic]

well it's true..... but of course there are exceptions though.... for example... a guy i knoe that went to my high school [brent byrd]... became number 1 state running back... but also had a 4. something gpa... now he's in the academy still keeping up about a 4.0

well im sure vince young didnt do much, i believe the !! is the total opposite of the movie "higher learning"

on espn they said how dumb he was..on a college aptitude test he got 4 rite out of 50 or some !! like that...

i know someone that went to Tulane University n did NO WORK....


he was the startin CB a few years ago n was #2 in the country in INTs....

their classes are prob. easy as !!

I'm sure they do some work, but I'm also sure that it's the bare minimum required to keep them on the team.

I think they don't have to do the small petty[..]igments that the rest of us college students have to do. I think all they really have to do is their term papers, study for mid-term and finals and that's pretty much it. Lots of them take easy classes, but then you get some people who actually are using their scholarship to learn.
