Chris bosh to detroit for tayshaun prince

Even though the Detroit Pistons are in the middle of getting swept out of the 2009 NBA Playoffs, rumors of how the team will look when they hit the court next year are already circulating.

The Detroit News is reporting today that Pistons forward Tayshaun Prince could be in the middle of any deal that Detroit and Toronto make involving All-Star forward Chris Bosh.

Author Poll
Should The Raptors Trade Chris Bosh if they cant re-sign him?

Yes - Get something for him before he walks No - He is under contract 1 more year vote to see results One possibility would include sending Prince, reserve forward Amir Johnson, and a future draft pick to Toronto for Bosh.

Adding Bosh to the Pistons, along with the departure of Prince and free agents Rasheed Wallace and Allen Iverson, would give the Pistons the breath of fresh air needed to rejuvenate the fanbase.

Bosh, along with Rodney Stuckey and Richard Hamilton, would be respectable and certainly more competitive than this year's product. Meanwhile, the addition of Prince to Toronto would more than likely mean the end of the Shawn Marion experiment.

However, it's possible that Marion could play alongside Prince.

For one Tayshaun Prince aint worth Chris Bosh. Two, the Bulls could offer alot better package who would be more attractive to Bosh rather than playing with an old[..] team that is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy past their primes.

I feel sorry for the Pistons, they have zero future, too good to tank, and have to call "Rodney Stuckey" the future..[pic]

Of course it's going to be a different team. The only option you guys have is too "rebuild.." The team is too fargone to try to save and add one or two missing pieces.

Rasheed is !!, Tayshaun trade value is lowered from a bad season and the same with Rip. You guys traded probably your most valueable piece in Billups for A.I aka The Cancer who won't be around next year and is absolutely worth nothing in a trade.

So tell me, why the hell would Chris Bosh want to play for a team in rebuild mode? And even if you guys DO get him he's not going to re-sign with a team in 2010 who is not in playoff contention.. You guys are pretty much done, and are best trading your players for expirings, and rebuilding through the draft. There's no way in hell no superstar player is wanting to go in the Detroit mess, especially witnessing what happened to A.I.

The pistons is doing a good job, even tho we got sweep by Lebron and the gang,I think next year we will be a lot better, has long as we make some good off season moves.

well pistons are going for lebron in 2010...as of bosh bosh, hamilton, and stuckey sound decent and with all cap they'll have after sheed, tay, and iverson..im sure they can get a decent lineup which will seem to be a threat next season.

Will Bynum and Stuckey are nice. How do the Pistons have no future when their guards are 2nd year players, with no bad contracts, equaling a !!load of cash? Everyone on the Pistons is a liquid[..]et except for Rip and the expiring contracts.

I mean that's the same Stuckey who[..]d Derrick Rose for 40 points this season. Bynum set a franchise record for 26 points in one quarter. They're sound defensively and have room to get better all-around.

If anything needs to change, it may be the coach, but he may do things better the following season. Joe has a clean slate for an easy turnaround. Boxden niccas talk out of their[..] sometimes.

That would be a horrible trade for the Raptors. Prince plays the same exact position as Marion and it would leave a bigger hole in the already weak frontcourt. Prince couldn't even replace statistically what Bosh brings on a consistent basis. I'm sure Bosh wants to get traded to a contender. It'd be in his best interest to push to be a Cav, he'd be a offensive threat in the low post that the Cavs been missing since Boozer left. Cavs will have over 30 mil in cap room and LeBron and Bosh can sign extensions as Cavs.

If he can't get with Cleveland because they want to explore other big name free agents in 2010, the Bulls should make a move for him. They should put together a package around Tyrus Thomas while his trade value is still high and bring in Bosh who's the more complete player than Thomas at this point of his career.

its funny how the article talks about how good the trade is for the pistons but nothing about the raptors who would be giving up the best player in the deal.

Pistons are doing this to free up cap room, thats why they got rid of Billups , they are about to dumb Sheed, an AI contract is up, Joe Dumars knows exactly what he is doing i mean he dumped Ben Wallace and the Bulls made a great move at 50+ Million for him and then dump him....The Bulls are super smart rofl
