the e-mail conversation was dated February 4th, 2011. The Twitter account @IamJustinCruz was created on August 21, 2011 with his first tweet commenting that he doesn’t really know how to use Twitter.

So according to the e-mail Cruz was asking Selby to follow an account in February that didn’t exist until August.
