There have been some great nba teams that didnt win the finals who probably deserved it or just played in the jordan era. i thought about this when people were talking about how malone got no championships and how good that utah team was.I am only doing more recent teams, that most of you were able to watch.

99-00 Portland Trail Blazers (59-23)
damon stoudamire
steve smith
scottie pippen
rasheed wallace
arvydas sabonis
off the bench: brian grant, bonzi wells, detlef shremph, jermaine oneal, greg anthony

that portland team was stacked. i remember watchin them that year, one of my favorite teams to watch. they should have won it all that year. i think it went to game 7 against the lakers and they were up 16 going in to the fourth and blew it. kobe and shaq went off, i remember the play that everyone remembers, that alley oop to shaq from kobe. > Best Teams That Never Won it all - Photo posted in BX SportsCenter | Sign in and leave a comment below!

01-02 Sacramento Kings (61-21)
Mike Bibby
Doug Christie
Peja Stojakovic
Chris Webber
Vlade Divac
off the bench: bobby jackson, scott pollard, hedo turkoglu.

this team was so good. one of the best offenses i ever seen. they had some tough series with lakers, but this year particularly they were the best team but they blew it. that horry shot killed them. > Best Teams That Never Won it all - Photo posted in BX SportsCenter | Sign in and leave a comment below!

97-98 Utah Jazz (59-23)
John Stockton
Jeff Hornacek
Byron Russel
Karl Malone
Greg Ostertag
off the bench: howard eisley, greg foster

they just played at the worst time but a great team nonetheless.

04-05 Phoenix Suns (62-20)
Steve Nash
Joe Johnson
Shawn Marion
Amare Stoudemire
Steven Hunter
off the bench: barbosa, quentin richardson, jim jackson

A great offensive team. im suprised they never got a ship.

06-07 Dallas Maverics (67-15)
Jason Terry
Jerry Stackhouse
Josh Howard
Dirk Nowitzki
Erick Dampier

off the bench:devin harris, devean george

03-04 T-wolves (58-24)
Sam Cassell
Latrell Sprewell
Trenton Hassell
Kevin Garnett
Michael Olowakandi

Off the bench: Mark Madsen, troy hudson, wally szerbiack

the best team kg had with minnesota and took them to the conference finals and lost to the lakers. they had a great 7 game series against the kings and kg went off. cassell was a beast that year.

i know there are a lot of teams im missing. you guys can add them if you want. i just thought of these teams off the top of my head. there the best teams i can think of though. i would go with the Kings though. They were ridiculous that year, idk how they lost.

2008-09 Cleveland Cavs- 1 vote (post cavs if you pick them and ill add up the votes.)

there were a lot in the 80's and 90's who didn't win because of the lakers and celtics gettin them all (guess u can add the pistons at the end) and the 90's because of the bulls

i'm not talkin just one season but just overall..the suns, knicks, orlando magic, utah jazz and maybe the pacers

Easily the 99-00 blazers, in my opinion there arguably the one of most talented teams from 1 to 12 ever

It's a tough one between the 93-94 Sonics (63-19) Lost to the Nuggets in 1st round and the 1995-1996 Sonics (64-18) Lost to The Bulls in the Championship.

Gary Payton, Shawn Kemp, Kendall Gill, Detlef Schrempf, Sam Perkins, Nate McMillan and Hersey Hawkins...

I think it's the 00 Blazers, but the '85 Celtics were pretty strong too.

cant forget that 92-93 suns team. 62-20. barkley, kevin johnson, majerle, tom chambers, danny ainge, richard dumas, oliver miller.

yea i just didnt put them cuz i know a lot of niggas on this site were too young to watch them. but yea that team was amazing. gary payton was so good. kendall gill was dope too. that team was stacked. from the list i put up i would go with the kings then the blazers. both teams were great to watch. phoenix was def 1 of the best teams out of those but i just knew they werent gonna win that year cuz there not used to that kind of pressure.

The 2000 Blazers probably presented the biggest problem to the Lakers in their whole 3 peat. I remember the games being real tough

that's a wild theory. brian grant played in miami for a few years after that

and also to TS, steven hunter was in no way starting for that phoenix team, i remember that starting line up clear as day, nash, q rich, joe johnson, shawn marion, amare

i was rooting for that phx team that year since my lakers didn't make the playoffs amazingly lol
