Auburn redshirt sophomore LT Greg Robinson will declare for the NFL draft.

Robinson is young but really emerged this season as a mauling blocker in Gus Malzahn's offense. Credit needs to be given to ESPN's Mel Kiper for recognizing Robinson's talent very early in the season. The left tackle is a very good run blocker, but he could use some work in terms of posture and balance in pass protection. There is a legitimate chance Robinson is selected over Jake Matthews.

Florida State junior RB James Wilder Jr. will declare for the NFL, according to ESPN's Joe Schad.

Wilder Jr. drew some buzz prior to the season, but it was obvious his talent did not match that of Devonta Freeman and Karlos Williams. Wilder Jr. is an upright runner with a punishing style. He should be a third day pick.

I knew Wild would go...someone is gonna get a STEAL in that kid if he can learn blitz pickups...could still flip him back to LB...Free will probably go as well...

lotta RBs gonna fall to the mid rounds imo. he'll probably go in the 4th if I had to guess. I still think his style gonna get em injured unless he tweaks it but he runs hard as fu*k

Always falls forward...he's gotta learn to run with more lean...he's like 6'2 he can't run straight up in the NFL...but the first person rarely takes him down alone...he's gotta learn blitz pickup and it'd behoove him to show he's a good receiver outta the backfield...

4th round may be a little high for him unless he lights up the combine...he's a total boom or bust at RB I think...

Yeah I'm leaning more towards bust at RB in the NFL for Wilder Jr. Freeman and even Karlos Williams Jr. are better backs IMO. But yeah, runs hard as fu*k. Appreciate what he did for our boys the last two years.

Robinson is a run blocking beast...I could see him moving inside to guard when he gets to the nfl...he was recruited as a guard out of hs

He may be athletic enough to play tackle in the league idk I just haven't seen him do a ton of pass protection...I only watched like two/three games to be fair

Yeah and he needs to improve his speed a little more too. He's improved it since he got there at FSU and a little more would definitively help him.

He's got breakaway speed in the open field...he's just far too willing to run n*ggas over so he rarely gets to bust one cuz he has to truck everyone

Dave Martin / a.ssociated Press
Auburn left tackle Greg Robinson received a first-round grade from the NFL Draft Advisory Board.
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. -- J.B. Grimes has been an offensive line coach for more than 30 years, but he has special praise for Auburn left tackle Greg Robinson.

"I've not had one like him," Grimes said. "I've had some really, really good players, probably coached somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 guys that have gone on to either play in the NFL or at least gotten into camps, but I've never had one with the skill set he has got."

This will be a rare and maybe only shout out I give to Mel Kiper but until he mentioned him no one in the draftnik community even heard or thought about Greg Robinson. Even idiots are on point sometimes
