Adam Carriker traded to the Redskins

As per Adam Schefter details of the trade aren't out yet and I'll edit when they're out. But as of now its only being said that Haynesworth is NOT part of the deal.

First defensive move I actually liked this offseason. Dude can start at end in the 3-4 in place of daniels. Maybe a change of scheme will help him out, at least try and be like Pittburghs aaron smith or luis castillo (best case scenario lol)

Heard its for a 5th which is fair value

Not bad, 3-4 DEs don't have to be flashy just solid. I know this guy hasn't lived up to his expectations, but a change of scheme and scenery should help.

Have fun with frail[..] dude. Dude stays getting !!ing hurt. Jim Haslett was the reason why they drafted him, but he is a 3-4 defensive end player, that is what he played in college. Since you guys are playing the 3-4 we should of gave you guys Chris Long also

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Redskins have acquired DT Adam Carriker from the Rams.
The Rams will also send over the fifth-rounder they acquired from Philly in return for the Redskins' fifth rounder. Carriker is essentially being dealt for a swap of fifth-round picks. The Rams wanted to shed salary, or else they're convinced Carriker will never stay healthy. Former Rams coach Jim Haslett has been pushing to be reunited with Carriker since he got the Skins' coordinator job a couple of months ago. The addition of the former No. 13 overall pick makes it much more likely that Albert Haynesworth will be dealt in the next few days.

Carriker is a much better fit for a 3-4 as a DE, than he was in the Rams' 4-3 scheme. The biggest concern with him is durability.

Al is about to peace too, wonder where he ends up. This draft is gonna be dope, Osi maybe on the move, Haynes. cant wait.

Everyone loves their picks in the immediate aftermath of the NFL Draft.

A pair of moves Tuesday afternoon, just two days before this year's fun at Radio City Music Hall, help to remind us not to get overly excited about rookie impacts.

The Rams wanted to get rid of 2007 No. 13 overall pick Adam Carriker so much that they traded him for the honor of moving up 28 spots in the fifth-round of the draft.

The Jets so desperately wanted to avoid playing the No. 6 overall pick of the 2008 draft -- Vernon Gholston -- that they chose to overpay Jason Taylor.

The moves are a good reminder that draft picks are often like new cars. Most go down in value the moment you buy them.

All they did was swap 5th round picks for him wow
