I disagree. He played like a quarterback who had only one healthy wide out and whos best outlet (Vernon) was being doubled the entire game. He played like a smart quarterback.

Him knowing all 11 defensive starters names doesn't scare me at all him being Aaron Rodgers and the weapons around him are more of my concerns, but even with that being said I'm still confident the 49ers will get the W this Sunday. This isn't the same team of years past they are equipped for this challenge.

I don't know if people know this, but Aaron Rodgers is the best QB in the league on the run, on third down, in the red zone, and against the blitz. Not Saying he is absolutely going to ball out but I don't think the 9ers faced a QB as good as Rodgers when it comes to pressure last season. The front 7 is the main thing to worry about defensively, and Rodgers has proven he can make even the best look dumb so I don't think it will be as cut and dry as 9ers fans are thinking when it comes to the pass rush.

49ers don't blitz tho. They get pressure with 4. The blitzed the 2nd least in the league last year. Rodgers gonna throw for 300 plus but it's gonna take him like 45+ attempts to get there. It's gonna come down to the Packers red zone offense vs the 49ers red zone defense. That's where the 49ers will win. [pic]

Personally, I love the idea of the very real possibility of the Packers starting the season 0 and 2. I can imagine the state of shock in the football world and the roasts that would occur here on boxden if the Packers lose to the Niners then on Thursday to my Bears.

It is a very real possibility. Look how the Niners played the Saints last year in the playoffs. And then the next week, if not for the fumbled punt, the Niners could have been in the Super Bowl.

The Bears and the Packers is a rivalry and although we've lost the last few, I always say in a rivalry it could go either way... I think an 0 and 2 Pack would turn the football world upside down and make the season look that much more interesting.
