Shelvey was decent in the Championship earlier this season when he was on loan

it's not based on creating a "great" player. most clubs in England struggle to do that. recently spearing, flanagan and kelly have all got into the first team, pacheco is playing in the primera liga. daniel ayala is playing for norwhich. jack robinson is understudy to jose enrique and has the potential to be a great player. thomas ince (paul ince's son) is a regular for blackpool.jack hobbs is captain of a championship and has been a team player of the year when he was at Leicester and represented England at under 19.

What the !! is your point? just cuz some youth players have gotten playing time in EPL it means they have a good system? most clubs around the world in big leagues give youngsters a chance to show what they have. That doesn't mean they're gonna be great/good or break through n be a regular starter on the team or at least be in rotation. Once again name me at least a good player that they've produced in the last 5-7 years who you'll hear people talking about in the future or right now.

Like i said, their system has been !! for sometime now.....that doesn't mean its !! overall....its one of the best in England but right now they're in a slump. You can't compare it to when they were producing Gerrard, Owen, Carragher, etc....

Trust me, this guy is by far the best player in the Dutch league, is three times better than Vermaelen ever was with Ajax, and has the potential to be a top defender if he manages to make the extra step. I'm actually surprised Barca didn't make an offer, he'd fit in perfectly. Puyol is aging, and Vertonghen is a good defender and has great passing ability as well.

30 million for a bum like David Luiz and under 10 million for Vertonghen.. !!ing steal.
