Different offense totally. The one thing that is the same is that that read option !! takes away from good runners ability to run the ball well. Guys like Peterson and Gore have to line up differently and take different angles to attack the holes. I think being forced to use Webb hurt AD's ability to be at his best just as Gore has gotten worse with Kyle at QB.

Hopefully there won't be much read option from the 49ers next week and we go back to what we did the first eight games offensively. If Gore isn't lined up in the I most of the game you guys will win.

As of January 3rd, ESPN.com says Justin Smith participated in team practice and is listed as "Questionable," but having a whole week to rest and whatnot I don't think he'll be out especially considering this is a playoff game and how much of a competitor Smith is.

[pic] @ Jaws saying Kaepernick gives the 49ers the "edge." How does that even make sense? He's an unproven, young QB going up against one of the best QB's in the league. Granted that the Packers don't have a great defense, this is the NFL so it's not like they can't make plays.
